On April 14, the RA National Assembly began the work of the regular sittings. The parliament approved the draft laws of the agenda of the fourth convocation of the RA NA seventh convocation and the regular sittings. The deputies did not endorse the three legislative initiatives, which received negative conclusion in the NA Standing Committees, which authored the RA NA Bright Armenia Faction.Therefore they were not included in the agenda of the session.

The draft law on Amending the RA Civil Code with the legislative package authored by the RA Government was not endorsed by the Head Committee, and it was approved by the parliament and was included in the session agenda.

A number of bills were debated in the second reading and completely passed.

The draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Criminal Procedure Code presented by the RA Government was debated in the second reading.

The RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs endorsed the draft law, and it was passed by voting.

The draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Criminal Procedure Code authored by the RA NA deputies Nikolay Baghdasaryan and Arusyak Julhakyan was debated in the second reading.

The opinions on this draft law of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and the RA Government were negative.

Nikolay Baghdasaryan presented for debate in the second reading the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Criminal Procedure Code authored by him and Nazeli Baghdasaryan.

The RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and the RA Government endorsed the draft law.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan presented for debate in the second reading the legislative package on Making Addendum to the RA Criminal Code and on Making Addendum to the RA Criminal Procedure Code.

The legislative package authored by the NA Bright Armenia Faction on Amending the RA Law on Public Service and on Amending the RA Law on Corruption Prevention was debated in the second reading and completely passing it.

The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Vladimir Vardanyan presented the endorsement of the Committee on the draft laws and the legislative package.

The draft law authored by the NA Bright Armenia Faction on Making Addenda to the RA Law on Keeping the Arrested and Detained Persons was also debated in the second reading and completely passing it.

Nikolay Baghdasaryan presented the negative conclusion of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs.

In their speeches the MPs voiced the positive and negative sides of the legal regulations designed by the draft law.

Edmon Marukyan expressed the viewpoint of the NA Bright Armenia.

Suren Grigoryan delivered a speech on behalf of the RA NA My Step Faction and presented his position on the initiative.

The parliament in the first reading debated the bill on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on State Allowances authored by the deputy of the RA NA Prosperous Armenia Mikayel Melkumyan.

The member of the RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs Lusine Badalyan presented the endorsement of the Committee and called on the deputies to vote for the bill.

Afterwards the MPs in the first reading debated the bill on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on Securities Market and the enclosed package of bills.

The member of the RA NA Standing Committee on the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs presented the endorsement of the Committee.

The debate of the item will continue at April 15 NA sitting.

At the last sitting of the day, pursuant to the RA Constitutional Law the NA Rules of Procedure, the RA NA deputies made announcements.
